Scott Balthazor- President and Co-Founder
Scott Balthazor is the President and has overseen all operations
for Socious since its inception in 2002. Scott oversees the rollout
of the Socious tools to each new client and manages the product
scope for future releases of the Socious tools. Prior to working
with Socious, he was a founding partner of The Isadore Group, a
PeopleSoft Higher Education consulting organization which was acquired
in the fall of 1999. Scott began his career as a programmer for
USA Group TRG and PeopleSoft, developing Contributor Relations applications
for the ERP environment. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre
from Arizona State University.
Paul Schneider- Senior VP of Business Development and Co-Founder
Paul currently serves as the Senior Vice President for
Business Development and has been with the company since its inception
in 2002. In his current position Paul is primarily responsible for
all new business development, vendor program sales, and creating
and managing strategic partnerships with outside organizations.
Prior to Socious, Paul spent much of his career in marketing
and sales, with over 10 years of specific technical sales experience.
In 1998, Paul become a founding partner of The Isadore Group, a
PeopleSoft Higher Education consulting organization which was acquired
in the fall of 1999.
Steve Balthazor- Senior VP of Information Technology and Co-Founder
Steve Balthazor has been the Senior Vice President of Information
Technology for Socious since its inception in 2002. His responsibilities
include managing software development for Socious, providing technical
direction for the Socious products, and administering Socious’
technology infrastructure. Steve graduated from Arizona State University
with a degree in Nuclear Engineering Sciences. After college Steve
served honorably for 5 years in the United States Navy where he
qualified as a Nuclear Submarine Officer. Before founding Socious,
Steve held various engineering/project management positions in the
semiconductor, mining, and software industries.
Lew Conner- Senior VP of Customer Programs
As Senior Vice President for Customer Programs at Socious,
Lew Conner is responsible for account management and support of
multiple PeopleSoft User Groups. Prior to Socious, Lew was Director
of Industry Relations for Education and Government at PeopleSoft.
In this role he was looked upon as the primary E&G customer
advocate in the company. Working with various user group Board members
over the years, Lew was instrumental in helping to support and organize
the annual user group conferences. He also was the primary PeopleSoft
representative to develop the Product Advisory Groups (PAGs) for
PeopleSoft user groups and was responsible for creating and organizing
the first two PAG summits 5 years ago. Before joining PeopleSoft
Lew spent more than 14 years working in Higher Education. Lew has
a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling and Administration
from Drake University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business
Management from Central University of Iowa.
