Socious Vendor Program Sales
Largest in Company History
Mesa, AZ April 10, 2006 —
Built into the Socious TKM software is the integrated
Vendor Module. This program allows vendors of a client’s
choosing limited access and information to the secure
area of the client site. Vendor access fees account
for a significant revenue stream for Socious customers.
Socious sells this vendor program for select clients.
“2006 has seen the largest vendor program sales level
in the company history”, said Paul Schneider SVP of
Business Development. He continued, “Since each vendor
program has a revenue sharing program with our client,
they are seeing sizeable revenue from their website,
which for most was previously an expense”.
Socious plans to build on this momentum by hiring
additional sales people to accommodate the increase
in sales and the other “tie-in” sales opportunities
that are coming from member conferences. “Socious is
starting to sell the vendor conference exhibits and
sponsorships for some of our clients. It is a natural
extension of this service since we are already selling
the same vendors the online sponsorship.” said Schneider.
“For the 2006 conference season, Socious has already
generated close to $1 Million in conference exhibit
and sponsorship revenue for our clients. This has
enhanced our ability to sell the online sponsorship
programs as well making this a great experience for
Socious and our clients.” He concluded.
